About our courses

Our courses have been designed to move you slowly but surely into the understanding of permaculture ethics, principles and applications.

You will learn how to use and practice them in your personal life and in your projects and we will provide you with  initial mentorship. 

​

Permaculture as a design system offers an incredible mindset and a set of tools to create more abundance, work flow efficiency and close loop cycles.    

​

On our permaculture demonstration and learning center in Luang Prabang, Laos PDR you will have the opportunity to immerse yourself in the life of a living and productive permaculture farm and to share time within our international community.

 

We offer 1 and 2 day introduction courses for short stays in town, as also longer courses, like the Permaculture Design Certificate Course and a practical project management apprenticeship training. For more informations, please click here

Practical information about the location and courses

​

The Green Mango Permaculture Center is based at only 15 minutes from main town Luang Prabang on the road to Kuang Si Waterfall, the natural highlight of the area.

 

We are bordering the Pongvane village, 10 minutes walk from the farm, where you will find all type of commodities.

​

We offer farm stay accommodation in 3 beds dormitory as also private 2 beds rooms.

Course schedule

 

Our courses usually starts at 9.00 am . You may be invited to join our morning yoga session at 6.30 am and some practical hands-on activities in the gardens from 7.00-9.00am.   

​

Course hours: 9AM - 4PM

​

Morning Session: 9.00am -12.30pm

Organic Lunch: 12.30pm - 2.00pm

Afternoon Session: 2.00pm - 4.00 pm

We will also provide morning and afternoon tea break.

 

Lessons includes lectures, workshops and group exercices to put the theory into practice and optional demonstration tours in partnering community projects. 

​

Lodging and Meals options: 

​

• Organic Lunch/breakfast and diner provided with food grown on site or provided by local farmers. Vegetarian option included.

​​

• Limiting sleeping space is available in the dormitory at $10/night incl. breakfast or in our private room. 

​

• Includes shower, access to facilities and gardens
